The great tech HOUSE OF CARDS.

Systems
  • Tech giants like Google and Amazon have cracked the code to look filthy rich—pay employees with Monopoly money, er, shares.
  • Stock options and RSUs slash those pesky cash expenses, juicing up profit margins for Wall Street’s delight. It’s all smoke and mirrors—non-cash costs pile up, shares dilute like cheap wine, but who cares when the balance sheet sparkles?
  • Employees gobble up the equity bait, dreaming of Lambos, while the companies stash real cash for toys like moonshots or buybacks.
  • Genius, right? Until the market tanks, and everyone’s left holding a bag of worthless pixels. Bravo, Silicon Valley.
